As part of DC government’s collaborative efforts to promote SUN Bucks, also known as the Summer Electronic Benefit Transfer Program for Children (Summer EBT), we are sharing these outreach toolkits.
These toolkits include fact sheets, fliers, and social media graphics detailing the benefits of SUN Bucks. These resources can help ensure families know about the new program and understand how to use their benefits.
Outreach partners play a pivotal role in getting the word out to students and families. This may include:
- local education agencies and educators,
- parent associations and community-based organizations,
- advocacy and faith-based groups,
- food banks,
- after school programs,
- and social media influencers.

Who we need
Parents/guardians of DC Public Schools (DCPS) and DC public charter school students
How it works
- In June, spread the word in three or more ways to your fellow parents and neighbors. For example, post on parent listservs, mention it at a Parent-Teacher Association (PTA) meeting, share on your social media, comment on your student’s classroom WhatsApp group, etc.
- Take screenshots or photos of where you share.
- Fill out the form below.
What you'll get
Each week, everyone who submitted a valid set of shares will be entered into a raffle for up to five $100 Visa gift cards. If you keep sharing in new places, you can enter multiple weeks!
